Reflections in Nature Kayaking

Designed for Fellowships of 10 persons and more

Be as one within the mangroves and begin your journey of appreciating how in God’s creation, all the dots connect.

Paddle through pristine mangrove forests and experience the effects of working in empathy and as a team, just like we should as the family of God.

And within the mangroves, in the quiet, except for the gentle sounds of cicadas and the occasional bird-call, we share God’s Word in the most marvellous “church” with the sky and clouds as our “roof”.

This program is not part of usual Adventures Collection. It is a customised experience, designed to accommodate fellowships and church activity groups, and to allow for time and space to fellowship and share God’s Word.

Depending on tidal conditions, we may perform a portage and paddle under an old bridge. We will definitely paddle through some of the quietest areas of the mangroves, and in this area we have, on past paddles, spotted large families of wild otters and uncommon birds.

The paddling journey designed to be easygoing and not mean’t as a physical challenge. If you are bringing children, they can be accommodated in a centre-seat, between two older paddlers.

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the rivers (Psalm 24:1-2).

What's Included in this adventure

Treasured Time

A great kayaking trip for my elderly Dad and I. I'm glad that my Dad enjoyed the kayaking experience. The highlight of the trip will be going into the mangrove area - I treasured those pockets of time to have quiet moments in nature and with God. The staff's sharing on mangrove ecosystem have left me awestruck on how wonderful God's creation is. I ended the day feeling refreshed and energised. Thank you and definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Exploring the Beauty of Nature

I joined the kayaking trip in Nov 2021, organised by Colin and his team from Asian detours. It was a well organised trip, and my wife and I had a really good time exploring nature. But more than that, it was also a spiritual refreshing for us, as Colin shared a short word in the midst of the mangrove forest in Ubin.

Being able to spend time exploring the beauty of nature, feeding upon god's word, bonding with fellow Christians in a day out is a spiritual retreat that I highly recommend us to take.

You have to experience it for yourself!
