Why it's an awesome adventure?

Exploring the Shorelines is a great way to learn about the marine biodiversity uncovered at low tide. You can interact closely with the marine environment and discover a variety of marine plants and animals.

The waters around Singapore, contrary to popular belief, are still teeming with marine life. A suitably low tide and a pair of sturdy shoes or booties is all we need to go exploring on this reef walk.

The intertidal zone is the area along the shore that is usually submerged at high tide and becomes exposed at low tide. This sensitive zone is home to a large variety of interesting creatures that have developed special adaptation to survive the stressful and regularly changing environment that comes with the changing tides.

And the best way to enjoy the marine life is to come armed with, not a bucket and shovel, but a camera and a curious mindset to learn about the various creatures that can be spotted on our shores.

Fun & Educational Reek Walk Experience

A unique and fun experience, it was really quite an eye opener and educational at the same time to see and learn about the different marine creatures. Even though we started really early, the sunrise was rewarding.

Changi Point is a boardwalk, which offers a beautiful view of the coastline.

There are six distinct sections on this boardwalk: Creek Walk, Beach Walk, Sailing Point Walk, Cliff Walk, Kelong Walk and Sunset Walk. It begins from Changi Creek in the east and stretches to the western rocky coast near Changi Beach Club, before finally linking up to Changi Point or Loyang Park Connector at Netheravon Road.
