Why it's an awesome adventure?

“GrassRoutes” is a pun; a name intended to portray a community effort. It is a movement that starts small, but thinks big. At the heart is a love for nature and a continuous effort to preserve our environment and surroundings.

Participants get a chance to be good corporate citizens & be role models to many. This passion is reflected in all that we do, be it in our operations on Pulau Ubin, our research efforts, and our regular conservation activities. This is also a perfect introduction to the Pulau Ubin mangroves! Friendly for beginners, come as you are because equipment and gear will be provided.

Hop on one of our tandem kayaks in a pair or with our Expedition Leader, and you are set for your adventure!

Fresh Way to explore Ubin

As a Singaporean, I've been to Ubin many times. But exploring it through the water channels is a fresh experience, allowing us to get up close with the wildlife. Our adventure leader Michael is also very nice and experienced sharing with us knowledge on Ubin and the mangrove as we kayak around. - Dale L
